I have read that one of the most important things to do is practice, practice, practice. Is all practice equal? Does it make more sense to "Practice in my room" for +1 experience 5 times or "Jam Session" for +6 once? I get more experience points I know, but am I better off doing the other?
Thanks!

Somebody was kidding you here. Play shows or go battling other bands as this will also give you experience points but will fill your pockets, too!

NO! Shows are terrible, only do them if you absolutely need the extra 100 dollars or whatever. When you do practices, some give you more experience per energy. Easy way you can figure it out, lets take "Practice in Garage" and "Compose Song"
Practice in Garage is 5 experience for 38 energy. So, divide 5/38, and you get 0.132 experience per energy.
Compose Song is 9 experience for 66 energy. So, divide 9/66, and you get 0.136 experience per energy.
That means that Compose Song will give you more experience then Practice in Garage
The best practice to do is "Get Music Lesson". Although it costs you 100 dollars each time (nothing) you get 0.167 experience per energy, which is much higher then any other practice OR show.

This matters on what level you are. If you are a very low level just starting out, doing a few shows is encouraged to start yourself off with some money
