Violating this Terms of Service or the following Rules of Conduct could result in the suspension or permanent termination of your account.
Real-Life Threats
Posts and/or private messages that allude to, contain language, comments, references, links, symbols, terms and/or imagery about and/or promote and/or otherwise support, in any manner whether directly or indirectly, violence or threats against another user
Real-Life Personal Information
Posts and/or private messages that allude to and/or contain language, comments, references, links, symbols, terms and/or imagery about, in any manner whether directly or indirectly, real-life information about other users and/or Storm8 employees, officers, directors and/or any of their family members.
Circumventing a Suspension/Ban
The use of another account to circumvent a suspension or ban.
Posting Cheats, Hacks, Trojan Horses, or Malicious Programs
Posts and/or private messages that allude to, contain language, comments, references, links, symbols, terms and/or imagery about and/or promote and/or otherwise support, in any manner whether directly or indirectly, cheats, hacks, cracks and/or malicious viruses/programs (e.g., keyloggers, Trojan horses, websites or files that take control of another persons computer, etc.)
Posting Unreleased Content / Hacking Data Files
Posts and/or private messages that contain language, comments, references, links, symbols, terms and/or content that, in any manner whether directly or indirectly, show/display and/or discuss any of the following may be subject to an infraction: (a) unreleased in-game items or equipment; (b) areas that have been unlocked by hacking into client data files; and/or (c) data not available through normal game play.
Impersonating a Storm8 Employee
Posts and/or private messages that allude to and/or contain language, comments, references, links, symbols, terms and/or imagery that, in any manner whether directly or indirectly, attempt to impersonate a Storm8 employee.
Protected Classes
Posts and/or private messages that allude to, contain language, comments, references, links, symbols, terms and/or imagery about and/or promote and/or otherwise support, in any manner whether directly or indirectly, hatred, discrimination and/or denigrations based on or related to any protected class (e.g., race, ethnicity, religion, sect, color, national origin, age, gender, familial status, sexual orientation, disability status, veteran status, genetic information, etc.)
Sales and Trading
Posts and/or private messages that allude to, contain language, comments, references, links, symbols, terms and/or imagery about and/or promote, advertise and/or otherwise support, in any manner whether directly or indirectly, the purchase, sale and/or trade of any account, character and/or other game asset.
Extreme Sexuality/Violence
Posts and/or private messages that allude to, contain language, comments, references, links, symbols, terms and/or imagery about and/or promote and/or otherwise support, in any manner whether directly or indirectly, ****ography and/or extreme violence or sexual acts.
Strongly Obscene/Vulgar/Inappropriate Objectionable Material
Posts and/or private messages that allude to, contain language, comments, references, links, symbols, terms and/or imagery about and/or promote and/or otherwise support, in any manner whether directly or indirectly, strongly obscene, vulgar, inappropriate and/or otherwise objectionable material.
Defamatory Material
Posts and/or private messages that, in any manner whether directly or indirectly, defame any other user and/or any Storm8 Studio employee, officer and/or director.
Discussing Disciplinary Actions
Posts and/or private messages that, in any manner whether directly or indirectly, discuss disciplinary actions taken by Storm8 against any user (including the poster.)
Harassing Material
Posts and/or private messages that, in any manner whether directly or indirectly, repetitively insult and/or otherwise harass any other user and/or any Storm8 Studio employee, officer and/or director.
Mildly Obscene/Vulgar/Inappropriate Objectionable Material
Posts and/or private messages that allude to, contain language, comments, references, links, symbols, terms and/or imagery about and/or promote and/or otherwise support, in any manner whether directly or indirectly, mildly obscene, vulgar, inappropriate and/or otherwise objectionable material.
Illegal Drugs and Other Illegal Activities
Posts and/or private messages that allude to, contain language, comments, references, links, symbols, terms and/or imagery about and/or promote and/or otherwise support, in any manner whether directly or indirectly, illegal drug use and/or other illegal activities.
Flaming, Trolling, Spamming
Posts and/or private messages that, in any manner whether directly or indirectly, involve any of the following activities:
Excessive communications of the same phrase, similar phrases, or gibberish.
Creation of undue discontent on the forums.
Creation of disturbances in forum threads, such as picking fights, making off topic posts that derail the thread, insulting other posters, etc.
Posting non-constructive comments.
Abusing the Report Post button by sending false alarms or nonsensical messages.
Numbering of a thread, IBTL, TLDR, etc.
Bumping threads.
Creation of First! posts.
Posting of off-topic comments.
Creating Duplicate Threads
Posts and/or private messages that, in any manner whether directly or indirectly, create new threads about existing topics or separate threads about an existing topic for further discussion in more than one forum (e.g., cross postings.)
Cross Linking
Posts and/or private messages that, in any manner whether directly or indirectly, contain links to threads from other forums unless previously approved by a Super Moderator.
Advertising
Posts and/or private messages that, in any manner whether directly or indirectly, contain any advertisement that has not been authorized by Storm8.
Third-party Tools:
Third-party tools may not be linked or discussed on these forums. Posting about third-party tools could result in action against your forum account up to and including being banned from these forums.
Disputes With Others:
You are solely responsible for your interaction with others that you come in contact with through the Site. However, we reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor and/or manage disputes between you and other users of the Site. If you have a dispute with other users, you release the Storm8 Parties (defined below) from claims, demands, and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with such dispute.
If you object to any content posted by another user, and/or would like to report another user of violations of the forum rules, please do one of the following:
