post up your stat/skills/class/level and what your experiences with them are... is it successful, are you getting beat up all the time?

mine is level 9 assassin
13 atk
13 def
100 energy
100 health
3 stam
32 win/13 loss and i hardly attack others

I have 4 clan with best defense equipment possible ( even have 4x 1000 cuts) minus the thunder tremor lootable spell. I even have a maxed out street gang.
This one guy e-fighter has been farming me all day despite all this. I guess i need more defense.
So far I have broken through everyone's defense when attacking even without the best attack equipment.

I have two mazes out street gangs for a total of +192 defense
and heavy defensive dojo.

My build relys on others attacking me + doing the good loot missions for cash and equipment.

wat i donnt understand is that i see many ppl with a spell x55 or a weapon x100....wat does that mean....does the stat on that weapon keep stacking as ppl keep buying them?....For ex. katana 3 def 1 attack(not real stats)....i end up buying 5 of those....do my stats go up by 15 and 5 attack???.....same with spells....

In each fight you start, it's your total attack points vs opponents total defense points.

BUT

Remember there are limits to how many of your items your clan can bring to a fight.

Max Clan Size = 5 x level
Max Dojo Items = 1 weapon, 1 technique, & 1 spell PER CLAN MEMBER.

And don't forget defenders also get points from defense clients added into their total defense points.

My observation is that an attack/defense of 1/1 is working just fine at level 8. I camped for a bit and lost battles along the way, but I'm not bothered by my 62/49 ratio.

As a lvl 8 mercenary, I have saved all my skill points so far (21). Even without any defensive clients, going thru the past few levels has been easy as long as I avoided the few with heavy defensive clients. There has not been any shortage of easier to kill people.

I don't have any defensive clients yet. For equipment, I just maxed out on the poison darts, wall climbing and fire blasts. The poison darts were cheap and weren't getting lost often, so I was able to skip the master blade and just go to the piercing bow. Even the wall climb was enough to skip the counterattack.

Being the way that it is, it seems like I should spend some skill points on stamina just so that I can attack more. My attack/defense of 1/1 is working pretty well still.

So what you are saying is that if I am the only person in my clan, even if I have for e.g. 500x Assassin Daggers, it is as good as having only 1 Assassin Dagger?

I changed strategy at level 18 or so ... was all offensive before but all the gold won was spent in rebuying broken items. Also, it took too much time to find opponents with more than 26 health and others were cutting through my weak defense during that time before I could use my stamina point :-)
So I did not reset but changed strategy and play alone doing missions like most.

*** Edit: I had to mention I was buying sturdy items , still loosing them too much ***

I have decided to go the mission route and stack my skills and dojo defensively. It seems that weapons favour attack, at least at the beginning of the game, so it makes sense to put skill in defense.

At level 23 with 72 allies my battle list is heavily mixed with opponents over 100 allies, and sometimes with levels up to 28! So EVERYONE is looking to attack the weakest opponent, and often they are always in retreat. I also spend most of my time in retreat, as as soon as I am over 27, someone sees my paltry ally level and pushes me under 27.. (267 wins to 147 losses)

I have a maxed out street gang, loads of herb shops for my mission strategy, and a smuggling ring to support my weapons. (I try to keep upkeep close to zero)

My win/loss ratio is suffering from being an early player and leveling up constantly in front of the masses and hence not having ally-brackets in place, but as most of the opponents on my battleboard have negative ratios, I think I am doing ok.

I am guessing that as soon as the winnings from battles become more interesting than the winnings from the missions, I will slowly replace the herb shops with income and defense clients. (The wonderful thing about leaving upkeep near zero and relying only on missions for money is that if someone attacks you when you are not on, say sleeping, they get next to no money!!) :D Currently my 420 energy points and 8 herb shops get me around 25 to 30k every hour. I am thinking I have so far made a wise choice over an attacking strategy as everyone currently on my battle board is either constantly in retreat or if you do find someone who isn't, you get anything between 0 and 6k, and 9 times out of 10 it is 0...! :eek:

10 Herb Shops with a Gambling Den +1. I'm starting to build up my defense finally cause i lose a lot when attacked. When I attack I usually pick on the lower levels so I can win. Have looted 53 Thunder tremors from missions so far which helps (12 atk, 15 def, no upkeep). I rely on missions to level right now.

My iPhone is down at the moment but from my memory I'm on level 22? Clan size of 49. Attack over Defense skill ratio of 3:1 in favor of attack. I can take on clans of 70+ and win comfortably. Win loss ratio of about 80+ % wins. (600+ wins vs 100+ losses). Income of 10K. Up keep of 2K. About 400K in the bank. Energy of 330. Health of 100. stamina of 11. I am looking to grow my clan to 100 asap. Add me at fhsta.

No, that's not true. The more assassin daggers the better! I saw Tzo had 10,000 of them, so you know they must be awesome. Even better are the Ninja Daggers - every ninja needs at least 100 of them per clan member. You can use them for everything from picking locks, to cutting noodles up.

But the real trick is understanding the hidden ninja tricks with weapons. For instance, Giant Stars, are well, huge right? So if you have too many, they slow you down. So you need at least one Sprint for every Giant Star. Also, you need Enhanced Vision to use the Piercing Bow of Darkness, otherwise you're firing in the dark and never hit your enemy. Kind of obvious I suppose, but it's amazing how many times I see players with the wrong match of Dojo items and just destroy them.

Missions are good because its a sure source for experience, cash, and loots. But it kinda gets slow at some point. Its all about the PVP'n aspect that gets you rolling. Putting a couple points to energy seems to be acceptable and necessary but not putting all, if not most of your points to it : ridonkolous!

It's going to take a LONG time to get to level 200, gaining a tonne of experience / cash / items through missions along the way. Each to their own. But I would be doing the same as Cretien if I were going to do the majority of my levelling up via attacking other players.

When I'm playing I like to attack, my method is all attack. I'll get pharmed when offline, but that's fine with me (returning the favor for those I attack). I've only lost 2 or 3 attacks, but lose every time I'm attacked. I probably spam attack more than I should (6 deaths already).

So far its been attack, attack, attack, attack, Bank. Wait and hope I don't get attacked. Full stamina then repeat till 27. Wait for stamina, Heal. repeat. Mission whenever full (timing it before the Bank). On a good round of 4 I can bank around 20,000 at my level and lose around 30-35 health. If no one attacks me I can get in around 10 total attacks for about 40k for 755 healing cost.

The game is def fun, but I probably only bank cash when I'm playing. So long periods offline will probably be stolen.
