Can't visit other restaurants!

My rs game keeps closing whenever I try to visit other restaurants and neighbors. I'm playing on iPod, Christmas version 1.4.2. Already tried twice today reinstalling

Don't reinstall that one install the normal one and play from that one.

Do you have the most current version to your Ipod? Try sycing with itunes.

I'm having the same problem. :( I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, syncing with iTunes, etc. I also close all apps and only run RS. Sometimes the problem is fixed by uninstalling/ reinstalling but only temporarily. And sometimes not at all. I emailed support when I first started having this problem on December 30th. I have only received one reply, on January 6th, asking if I still have the problem. I emailed back that I am, but I still havent heard anything back.

Any other ideas how to fix this that I haven't tried? I'm on ipad2, current versions, everything's updated. Also only playing 1 version of RS. Thanks!!

Is it just nbrs from your nbr list that your having this force closing happen with? Are you able to visit players from your news feed and wall okay? Could try visiting on the original version if your playing on the Christmas version to see if it helps. Is it always the same restaurents that this happens with? Any problems with any restaurents from the community wall and the force closing issue?

Syncing didn't help :(
It seems to happen randomly. My rs will close if visiting neighbors or friends. Doesn't matter if it's from my news feed or not. I never had this problem before, just started happening a couple of days ago. Very frustrating having to keep opening my rs app!

No particular restaurants, happens from my news feed, my wall or just from random visiting. Already tried regular version, keeps closing also.
