if the ipod you bought was in a 1 year period time from now you can contact apple and tell them what happened. then they will ask you some questions and (or) tell you to send it in. the only dwon fall is they will give you a new ipod so all info will not be on it.
if you still want your info on your storm8 games, there might be a way to transfer account.
