Are you kidding?? When you sell off all your gear to camp there is no more secure feeling than to know that you are armed with the plastic knives and paper bibs that you got from all these promos.

But just to share a different opinion about the loot items.

There's one consequence of keeping these loot items, that I do not know if
players or Storm8 realize. Keeping them, "kinda" marks your entry into the game.

Yes.. you can sell them all, and no one will be able to determine when you started
playing. So having one or none means nothing.

But having them all, or keeping them proves at least you were playing when that
one came out.

When I was around level 8, someone left a comment on my board, asking "How did
you get so much gold?". I told them that I started the game on day one, and
I'm playing slow to build lands and weapons. They thanked me.

So for "new players" who get the moonglow helm today, this will be their start date. And in six months
they will be higher in level. They may get into a war with someone, who then
accuse them of buying their army. If they didn't, one can easily crunch the
numbers to see they did not.


None of this should even matter..you know.. what day you started playing. But
in these social games, stuff has a way of becoming a issue.

be able to show their start dates, regardless if you buy points or not.

And the player has the option to sell all, if they don't want to reveal this info.
But for the little bit of gold you get, I don't know why I'd sell it.

Yeah, true. I wouldn't think comments take up much space, same things as small text files which are at the most maybe 5-10 kilobytes? They probably aren't a problem quite yet but who knows.

Staying at level 8 building gold is the silliest thing ever. What's the max return u get at that level??? Like 1000 an hour??? Plus just winning passive battles would force u to level quickly at level 8.

Do no start camping for money until you at least have 90% of your possible investments if not every single one. You should at least have all investments except gold mine before you start just investing. At low levels you don't help your cause when u are investing at a 1/1000 ratio and the next investment would be a 1/100 one.

Since this thread is about promo loot. I just want to say that IMO kingdoms
is the most beautiful of all the games graphic wise. And when they added
those backgrounds, and glowing effects this became the most gorgeous
(to me) of all the MMO games for the iPhone. Inc, aftershock, playmesh and
the godfather.

This is one I spend the most time on.. and everytime we get one of those
nice loot items, that's just more art to add to the atmosphere.

Just a cell phone game.. but a damn good looking one.
