How do i get the Accordina and the red v guitar

A lot of bands out there seem to be at my same level yet have gear i have never been even offered to purchase.

How does that occur?

Im at level 12 and played

i have played all 3 shows that i have been offered to play to win a prize but all that comes out of winning prizes are: Karaoke Machine, Eclectic cd collection, and a promo guitar.

However i see other people i am battling with things like: a red & white V guitar, an accordian, a saxaphone, dj gearor mixer or something like that, and also a white glove.

whats up with that? and where do i access these things?

Those are probably things that someone got when storm8 had a promotion. Storm8 occassionally does promo type things when you download another storm8 app or an upgrade to one. You would see this when you open RS. You get things for other apps - but it only runs for a period of time - after that those items are no longer available.

I'd suggest downloading those when storm8 has the promo deals. You have to open the new downloaded app but you don't have to keep it in order to keep the promo item.

Sorry I have no idea. All the storm8 apps are like that though. I actually really like that not everyone has the same exact things. Other factors come into play when losing battles too. How is your clarity? Do you in game buy things to help clarity for when other bands battle you?

i increase my tone and clarity skill points everytime i move up a level.

i purchase within each gear category the top tone and top clarity for each band member.

im not really sure what else i can do for clarity.

Hmm... I can only go off of what I'm doing. Here's kind of what I'm doing.

I put more into clarity then tone
I don't battle anyone but let them battle me
I don't leave comments on anyones page
I don't put anyone on the CL
I download all the promo items when they are available (you prob want to start doing this when they come up)

I pretty much keep low key. Right now my win/lose ratio isn't that great - I need to up my clarity and band members but have been focusing more on trying to get more income.

im level 12.

would kinda suck to not be able to battle others. i make prob $40-50,000 a day battling others.

I have 6 band members now. all covered on the highest level gear avail for my level.

I have never seen any promos offered beyond the loyalty points promos.

I never leave comments nor do i put people on the Challenge.

I am noticing that even if i lose to someone once that i often will win the second time i battle them. - sort of an odd feature....

am also focusing on making income so that i can afford a roadie and still have cash aft i buy him/her.

therefore i AM playing shows to bring in that bit of extra income and not worrying about experience points so much cz i dont really want to go up the levels until i can have more cash to afford what is at those higher levels.

aft reading this forum tho, i am alternating practicing with doing shows just in case the experience points have anything to do with the outcome of my battles.

Hopefully that will help you win more.

When you see a notice that says something about get 10 free honor points or something (even if another storm8 app) click and download it - open the new app up and then whatever promo items are being offered will be updated on all your storm8 apps. There was just one yesterday for points with VL update.

Oh boy no coffee brain right now - I'm not sure if you mentioned if you use the calculator - if you don't you might want to check it out and see what suggestions it has - looks like at lvl 12 the suggestion is 60 friends.
