When is a good time to start leveling up?

When is it time to level up?Im at level 7 and make about 26000 in gold.Or should i just stay put and raise more gold.Haha i havent gotten attacked in a week

Well I want to be sure that as I go Up levels I can be one of the strongest.Also I wana make sure I can afford all the Upkeep on my weapons with out doing any dent in my income

When u get to 10 and start buying temples ur income will shoot up like a rocket. If u save $$$ up while ur leveling u will b even better off. when I started playing I camped but did quests to level up and eventually got to 40 with around 2 mil income. Now I'm level 73 with 3 mil income. # 57 or something in highest income

Camping.I really play the other s8 games and do the same.Want to be sure I cAn be strong.My advice is to just by best defense items and then save money and buy buildings until u think ur ready to move up

On average, the upkeep cost of the best/highest level item is ~70% more than the previous one, aside from spells, so you have to take that into consideration when preparing to level. Be sure that your income is ~70% more than it was the previous time to keep your income steady and strong. Also be sure you can equip a max army to save you time later.

I completely agree with this method. Of course my way was like this but I couldn't seem to wait... but somehow I made it to lvl 54 where I currently am, but I'm only making 980K a turn.

Looks like I'll be camping then... =]

Well Nothing is too much in this game.. but my strategy has been helping me so far.. I'm in Lvl 23 and at 380K income.. my unkeep is close to 7%. as long as you can keep unkeep under 10% i think its good. But make sure before you lvl up to calculate what your unkeep will be after you are fully equipped at that level.

If that is still under 10% I think you should be alright. If you have the patience to stay that long.

It is VERY difficult to keep it under 10% much past level 30-40. Most people will try to keep it 35% or less but even then, its tough with Teleports at 1k each, Infernos at 2k each etc.
