question about defense

hi everyone, i am very new and i love this game !!!

my question is simple
i am on my own, soloing
i am level 7
no Allies so the total number i can attack is using 3 units

how about defense?
i ask because i notice if i have 15 top defense ships at my level, i have almost 90% of winning chance of protecting myself
but when i kill them all and only left with 3 of them, i lost most of the time

shame we cant see defense result and this is what i dont understand

i assume people attack me and win is because they have more allies then me, so they use more unit to attack me, so they win
but how do you explain if i have 15 top defense ships the chance i will win more?

I'd say you have a random abberation in your data, or something else is influencing your results, such as the nature of your attackers, but you should only use 3 units in defense as well.

by the way i dont have any allies
can someone conform 1 thing for me?

if u have 1 allies i can see up to 4 allies people in the battle page
does it means it always display your number of allies + 3 in the battle?

so if i have 2 allies, i can see up to 5 allies people in battle page and so on?

but if you have 3 allies, can u see any 1 allies people in your battle page?

just want to understand more about total defense and want to see is it possible

At the lower levels, there are clear tiers:
1-4,5-9,10-14,15-19, etc.

Ideally, you want to be at the top of each tier to maximize the benefits.

At Level 7, your skill points are going to have a large impact. If your attacker was 100% attack, they will most likely beat you (especially if they had a larger alliance).

The game really boils down to numbers. If you want to play with your attack/defense scores and compare them to opponents, you can use the spreadsheet here (http://www.immoforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=73).

yes i got it. i am now level 9. trying not to do mission and only attack player
so i wont level up to quick.
i find out 1-4 allies as well
so i will try keep 4 at most time

i am trying to max my denfense on building and unit
all skill point goes to attack

because i think defense point is useless at high level
u can keep build unlimited building as long as u got money
but attack is always a set amount u can have at each level.

so i put all point to attack
let the unit and building do the defense
