Procedure to Transfer Accounts

I have all the Storm8 games and will soon need to replace my iPhone but I cannot find any detailed documentation on how to transfer accounts.

EMERGENCY SCENARIO
If the iPhone is no longer accessible, you obviously cannot initiate the transfer feature inside the game. What is the procedure to get the accounts on a new replacement iPhone? Is it a matter of just emailing support@storm8.com?

UPGRADE SCENARIO
If you are able to smoothly transition between devices (meaning you have access to both), do you only have to start the account transfer in a single game for it to work for all games or do you have to initiate the account transfer in the Settings button on each game?

Having a click-for-click walkthrough would be very handy on what to expect and what is needed to be known beforehand.

then the problem is how do you close the link on the first iPhone or iPod touch (after you transfer your account your old device is still linked to the same account i.e. if they rest their character then yours will rest also(thats what happened to me................))???

I'm hoping that you haven't replaced your iPhone yet. Please make sure you have this information ready as Storm8 might need it in the event that you were unable to set up your transfer feature from the game.

1. Back up your old iPhone thru itunes and get your device's UDID- (sorry don't know where's it's listed off the top of my head)
2. Write down your code, username, and current level, for all the Storm8 games you have.
3. Email Storm8 and give them all these information. Hopefully they can restore your new phone with these information.

(IM NOT SURE ABT THIS ONE THOUGH --If Storm8 can't restore your characters with the information you have provided, then maybe restoring from a back-up will bring up the same Storm8 character before your phone broke - ).

It sounds like it will automatically transfer all of your old accounts over. It should also remove it from your old phone because your account is now linked to your new UDID from your new iphone

this is were the problem lies in the last part, when it transfers your account it doesn't erase the original account from the first iPhone or iPod....

Well it didn't and storm8 customer support didn't really help that much...
They did respond fast and they said that the broke the link, but it didn't work they are still linked and I told them that with no response for about 2 weeks now............

If you are having issues with your transfer/account email Storm8 support so they can assist you. Let them know what you are trying to do and include your Storm8 ID and character names/codes/etc. (support@storm8.com).

There is no log out option. If you want to have more then one account you need to have more then one allowable device (iphone, itouch, ipad and droid devices). If by logging out to create another you want a new character you can do that by resetting your character and starting over at level one (however the older character will not be accessible).

If none of those cover your reasoning to wanting to log out - post back and we'll see if we can answer.

My old phone was stolen. And on my sister's phone she has one of the games I play, but she never plays it anymore. So I want to log out her account so I can log in mine since I still play it. :)

To keep playing on my new iphone i had to create a storm 8 id on my old one. which you find in settings of the game. Eg imobsters. As long as the storm id is linked to the email addy you began with your fine. Because of my storm 8 id i can play on any android phone and iphone.
